I know I said I would try to post more than once a month, but I’ve slipped off the radar for awhile. For the last month, I hardly went online or did much of anything. I spent most of my days being unmotivated and becoming addicted to the TV shows Monk and Vampire Diaries. I am on the last season of Monk (there are 126 episodes total) and have one episode left of Vampire Diaries. I feel like I wasted an entire month, but the break from my day-to-day life has helped me realize what I really want. For the last few months I have been second-guessing my dreams at becoming a professional model. I feel like I have hit my peak in this small southern town and will never make it in the industry if I continue to stay here. I have been re-evaluating my plans for the future, and finally, after being so hard on myself, I have decided to continue to push through. There are a million and one obstacles that I have gone through, and there are at least a million and one more that I will encounter. The point is that I have gotten to where I have on my own in a short period of time. I will never make it if I don’t to be as passionate about modeling as I have been in the past. So there you go, I’m back in the game. You’ll be seeing more of me.

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted an entry. I don’t really know what to say.. Many things have happened in the past month I’m sure, but its so hard to remember all the little important things.
Last night a friend and I lead a meeting on the topic of PostSecret. I think it went well with the exception of technical difficulties and time restraints. I saw so many well constructed secrets for the time allotted to create them and was thoroughly impressed. I’m so thankful to be a part of a group of caring individuals.
On Saturday, Will and I picked up our new puppy! Her name is Cloud, and she is the sweetest thing ever. We should have thought about the timing of getting her, because she is the biggest distraction in my life right now and requires as much attention as a newborn baby. Right now she is a little over 9 weeks and weights 1.6 pounds. I love her so and can’t get myself to leave the house.
Thanksgiving break was this past week and before that was Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. HHAW was a mad dash every day of the week as I tried to prep and market for everything. I only attended a few events but I think everything went smoothly. Its really amazing that just a few people can pull off a weeklong series of events. Thanksgiving break came just in time to save us all. Mine was pretty uneventful. I spent it to catch up on episodes of Monk and resting [being lazy].
Before that, I went to Hilton Head to work as a promotor for a vendor at the Concord d’Elegance [which is a huge car show]. It was really great to see all the different types of cars that everyone had from old classics to modern day Fast and the Furious types. I had a blast that weekend and have a new car picked out ;)
Halloweekend was pretty exciting. I dressed up as Princess Peach and William went as Luigi [there were no more Mario costumes]. We went to a party at Tracey’s which was by far the most interesting Halloween party I’ve attended. haha fun times you guys ;)
Well I hope I hit all the high points of this month. I’m going to try to make a conscious effort to blog regularly [I always say that], so that I don’t have to make posts that can be mistaken for a dissertation.
